The Electro-Voice EVERSE 8 Black redefines portable sound reinforcement by combining professional audio performance with true wireless freedom. As Electro-Voice's first battery-powered loudspeaker and one of the first weatherized models in its class, the EVERSE 8 delivers exceptional versatility for musicians, DJs, presenters, fitness instructors, and event professionals.

Despite its compact footprint, the EVERSE 8 delivers impressive output with a maximum SPL of 121 dB and wide 100° x 100° coverage. Its custom-designed 8" woofer featuring EV's patented SST technology and high-output titanium tweeter provide clear, balanced sound with excellent projection for both speech and music applications.

The high-capacity lithium-ion battery provides up to 12 hours of operation, allowing complete freedom from power outlets. Combined with its IP43-rated weatherized construction and included weather-resistant input cover, the EVERSE 8 is ideal for outdoor performances, busking, sporting events, and mobile sound applications.

Developed in collaboration with Dynacord, the integrated four-channel digital mixer includes studio-quality effects, feedback suppression, audio ducking, and 48V phantom power. Bluetooth® audio streaming and control via the EV QuickSmart Mobile App allow convenient wireless operation directly from your smartphone or tablet.

Its lightweight design, ergonomic handle, and multiple positioning options make the EVERSE 8 equally effective as a main PA speaker, stage monitor, portable sound system, or part of a wireless stereo setup.
