The Catalinbread Belle Epoch is a delay pedal that captures the sound and feel of the iconic Maestro Echoplex EP-3 with remarkable authenticity — so convincing you might swear there’s actual tape inside the pedal.

Rather than being a standard digital delay with filtered repeats, the Belle Epoch recreates the many subtle (and not-so-subtle) traits that made the original EP-3 a musical instrument in its own right. These include the preamp character, self-oscillation behavior, control over the “record level,” wow and flutter, natural repeat decay, and the way the circuit interacts with amplifiers and other pedals.
