The Shure DH5 DuraPlex is a lightweight and extremely comfortable omnidirectional subminiature headset microphone, engineered for professional applications where reliability and sound quality are critical. Delivering a neutral, full-bodied sound, the DH5 meets the highest audio standards for presentations, speech, musical theatre, broadcast, and live performance.

Its 5 mm subminiature design is mounted on a flexible silicone boom hinge system, allowing the microphone to be worn on either the left or right ear. With an IP57 rating, the DH5 is protected against water, sweat, moisture, dust, and dirt, making it suitable for the most demanding environments.

The advanced 1.6 mm Shure Plex cable offers exceptional durability. Featuring dual redundant grounding for added protection, the cable resists kinks, has virtually no memory effect, and is fully paintable with theatrical paints, pens, or makeup.

Included is a Presence Cap that enhances vocal clarity by adding a subtle presence boost (3–4 dB around 10 kHz), ensuring intelligible and articulate speech even in challenging acoustic conditions.
