From the very beginning, it was clear that one instrument would not be enough to honour jazz legend Toots Thielemans. As one of the greatest jazz harmonica players of the 20th century, he inspired countless musicians worldwide. For this reason, Hohner worked closely with Toots to develop two unique instruments built entirely to his personal specifications.

The Hohner Hard Bopper is the second model from this collaboration. Featuring long reeds and thicker reed plates, it delivers a loud, powerful sound with exceptionally fast response. This makes the Hard Bopper ideal for fast jazz passages and energetic, rock-influenced styles.
