The Gretsch G5420T Electromatic® Classic Hollow Body combines the unmistakable style and sound of Gretsch guitars from the 1950s and ’60s with modern playability and refined construction. Finished in a stunning Walnut Stain, this elegant hollow-body guitar is an excellent choice for players looking for a full, dynamic and instantly recognizable Gretsch voice.

Its laminated maple body features a classic single-cut hollow-body design with refined arches and vintage-inspired contours. The redesigned trestle block bracing increases rigidity and helps reduce unwanted feedback. At the same time, it contributes to a faster attack, greater focus, clear articulation and increased sustain.

Two new FT-5E Filter’Tron™ pickups deliver a powerful and full-bodied tone with the distinctive Gretsch chime, sparkle and clarity. The versatile control layout, including individual pickup volumes, a master volume with treble-bleed circuit and master tone control, makes it easy to shape the sound for a wide range of playing styles.

The comfortable Classic “C” maple neck and 12”-radius laurel fingerboard provide a smooth and familiar playing feel. Combined with the secured Adjusto-Matic™ bridge and Bigsby® B60 vibrato tailpiece, the G5420T offers plenty of expressive potential, while its vintage-inspired hardware and detailing complete the unmistakable Gretsch character.
