The Roland TD-6 and TD-6V are part of the classic V-Drums generation, combining an extensive collection of drum and percussion sounds with a versatile sequencer and user-friendly controls. The TD-6V is the updated version, featuring a black housing, blue LCD display, and newly developed drum kits and patterns. The system offers 64-voice polyphony, 1,024 drum and percussion instruments, and 262 backing instruments.

The TD-6V provides 99 drum kits and a 6-part sequencer for practicing, playing along with patterns, and recording your own parts. The sequencer supports real-time recording as well as One Shot, Loop, and Tap playback functions. Tempo can be adjusted from 20 to 260 BPM.

With nine trigger inputs supporting up to eleven pads and cymbals, the module provides plenty of flexibility for building a complete electronic drum kit and expanding the setup later. Dual-trigger support on compatible pads allows additional playing expression, such as separate head and rim sounds.

The TD-6V also features Ambience and a 2-band master EQ for shaping the overall sound. A headphone output allows quiet practice, while the Mix In connection lets you play along with external audio sources.

MIDI In and MIDI Out/Thru connections allow the TD-6V to integrate with other MIDI equipment and function as a General MIDI sound module. The exact pads, cymbals, kick trigger, and hardware may vary depending on the specific TD-6/TD-6V kit configuration.
