Short Scale Bass – compact bass guitar with classic Fender style

The Squier Sonic® Bronco™ Bass is a compact and accessible bass guitar that combines classic Fender style with the comfort of a short scale. Its 30" scale length creates lower string tension and makes the instrument particularly easy to play, making it an excellent choice for beginners as well as experienced players who prefer a more compact bass.

The thin, lightweight poplar body is paired with a slim maple neck featuring a comfortable C-shaped profile. The Indian laurel fingerboard has a 9.5" radius, 19 narrow-tall frets and stylish pearloid dot inlays. The narrow 1.5" nut width further contributes to the comfortable and accessible playing feel.

A Squier ceramic single-coil pickup provides the sound, controlled by independent Master Volume and Master Tone controls. The pickup delivers a punchy, articulate bass tone that works well across a wide range of musical styles.

The 4-saddle hardtail bridge allows precise intonation adjustment, while sealed die-cast tuning machines provide smooth and reliable tuning. The black finish, white pickguard and chrome hardware give the Bronco Bass a distinctive yet classic appearance.
