40W Bass Combo – compact bass amplifier with versatile tone shaping

The Cort CM40B is a compact yet powerful bass combo that combines solid construction with straightforward controls and versatile tones. With 40 watts RMS of power and a 10" speaker, it delivers plenty of volume and a solid low-end response for home use, practice and rehearsals at controlled volume levels.

The comprehensive 4-band tone control gives you plenty of control over your sound. In addition to Bass and Treble, the CM40B features separate Low Mid and High Mid controls, allowing you to fine-tune the midrange to suit your bass and playing style.

The Gain and Mode controls allow you to switch between a clean sound and characteristic overdrive/saturation. The Bright switch adds extra presence and shimmer to the upper frequencies, making the CM40B suitable for a wide variety of styles and playing techniques.

The CM40B is also particularly practical for home use. The Aux In allows you to connect a smartphone or other music player for play-along practice, while the headphone output makes silent practice possible. The Pre Out can also send the preamp signal to external equipment such as a PA system or recording console.
