Compact Martin tone – solid spruce, granadillo and comfortable 00 playability

The Martin 00-16E combines the comfortable character of a compact 00 body with the rich, refined tone for which Martin is renowned. Its smaller body dimensions and 24.9" scale length provide an exceptionally comfortable playing experience, while the all-solid-wood construction delivers a dynamic and expressive acoustic voice.

The solid spruce top is paired with solid granadillo back and sides, producing a clear and balanced tone with excellent definition and projection. Scalloped spruce X-bracing contributes to an open and responsive tonal character, making the 00-16E equally well suited to detailed fingerstyle playing and strumming.

The neck features Martin's comfortable Modified Low Oval profile with High-Performance Taper. Combined with an ebony fingerboard, a 1 3/4" nut width and the shorter 24.9" scale length, it provides a smooth and accessible playing feel. An ebony Modern Belly bridge and compensated TUSQ® saddle contribute to reliable intonation and immediate string response.

Visually, the 00-16E remains true to classic Martin styling. Its gloss-finished spruce top is complemented by satin-finished granadillo back and sides, Antique White binding, a tortoise-pattern pickguard and a distinctive Bold Herringbone rosette. Nickel open-gear tuning machines with Butterbean knobs complete the traditional appearance. The guitar is supplied with a Soft-Shell case.
