The Gretsch Jim Dandy™ Dreadnought draws inspiration from the legendary “Rex” catalog guitars of the 1930s, ’40s, and ’50s, combining authentic vintage charm with modern playability. This compact dreadnought delivers impressive projection and warm tone in a comfortable and approachable design.

Thanks to its specially designed slope shoulder dreadnought body and shorter 24.75” scale length, the guitar feels exceptionally comfortable without sacrificing the volume, bass response, and resonance that dreadnought guitars are known for. This makes the Jim Dandy™ ideal for both beginners and experienced players.

The X-braced body is crafted from lightweight laminate tonewoods that produce a woody vintage-inspired sound with excellent durability. The nato neck with comfortable “C”-shaped profile offers a smooth and inviting playing experience.
